    Description

    Position Summary
    Responsible for the smooth running of the Mattress In a Box (MIB) production lines. Deep knowledge in production procedures; workflow management. Direct personnel, decision making and problem solving.
     
    Position Description
    • Formulate objectives, calculate costs, and understand requirements for the MIB lines
    • Organize the cutting and MIB workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
    • Monitor production to resolves issues
    • Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.) needed to ensure output meets quality standards and required work orders
    • Enforce safety precautions
    • Provide required training to personnel
     
    Position Requirements
    • 5-7 years of production supervisory experience
    • Knowledge of production management
    • Understanding of quality standards and health and safety practices/regulations
    • Knowledge on performance evaluation and personnel management
    • Budgeting concepts
    • Proficient in MS, FK, SAP, Allen Bradley, ERP software
    • Communication, organizational and leadership skills
    • Strong decision-making skills
    • Results driven approach
    • Expertise in foam and cutting machines
     
     
     
    Work Environment: Works in a climate controlled, office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.  Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and frequent computer usage. Will be significant time out of the office and with customers. Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
