Production Manager

Position Summary:Responsible for managing and coordinating operations associated with the manufacture of wood components and frame assemblies ensuring quality products are produced that meet specifications and are delivered on a timely basis to the next operation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures proper staffing levels are available to meet production requirements and that employees are properly trained for the job they are assigned.Mentors Production Lead People to address employee issues with safety, quality, productivity and attendance problems per company policy.Ensures that manufacturing equipment is properly maintained to prevent lengthy and costly equipment breakdowns.Create a culture of safety by enforcing rules/ policies regarding the use of proper personal protective equipment ( PPE) safe wood dust management health and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of five (5) years experience.Requires in-depth knowledge of work performed in order to operate more complex machinery and provide guidance or supervision of others (team leaders or 1st line supervisors).Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.
