About the Role:
The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure product is produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard. Responsible for production schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and maintain compliance with safety and quality. Encourage and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Overall, the responsible person for driving productivity while minimizing waste while meeting customer demands and company goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management/supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Adjust, manage, and control production schedule to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Manage daily operations of the production floor, adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise all production staff, promoting teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with department leads regarding production scheduling
- Determine and manage resources needed to meet production goals.
- Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure availability of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, and use them to analyze data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements and company policies related to manufacturing.
- Support with organizing training for employees, cross training and adhering to training KPI's per employee.
- Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner
- Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies' ability to meet customer requirements.
- Oversee department meetings and manage action items resulting from meetings
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to senior management.
- Manage personnel times and OT to ensure effective production is being done
- Oversee quality and quality processes, monitor results, and implement improvement processes.
- Timely response to any and all inquiries
Skills:
The Production Manager requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate production teams, communicating clear goals and expectations. Analytical skills are needed for interpreting production data and implementing process improvements that increase productivity and reduce costs.
