Description

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager with strong CNCmanufacturing expertise. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background(preferred but not mandatory) and proven experience in managing CNC productionoperations, including costing and quotation. This role requires leadership, technicalknowledge, and the ability to optimize production efficiency while maintaining qualitystandards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily CNC production operations (horizontal/vertical machining & turningcenters).
  • Plan, schedule, and manage production to meet delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, quotations, and pricing for machining jobs.
  • Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and controlcosts.
  • Supervise and guide CNC operators, programmers, and machinists.
  • Ensure quality standards and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, and procurement teams.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 10 plus years of experience in CNC production/manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CNC machining (milling, turning, programmingbasics).
  • Proven experience in job costing, estimation, and pricing/quotations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with production planning and ERP systems is a plus.
