    Production Manager | Manufacturing

    Aurora, CO | Full-Time

    We’re looking for a Production Manager to lead a team of 30+ and take ownership of day-to-day production operations for an established equipment manufacturer in Aurora. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to balance people, production, quality, safety, and deadlines without losing sight of the bigger picture.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Lead daily production operations and keep manufacturing schedules on track
    • Partner with the Plant Manager to establish daily and weekly production goals
    • Manage staffing and adjust personnel assignments based on production demands
    • Train, coach, and develop employees while building cross-training across the department
    • Ensure finished products meet established quality standards
    • Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions
    • Make sure tooling, packaging, inventory, and other materials are available to support the production schedule
    • Drive a strong safety culture through daily communication, accountability, and corrective action
    • Coordinate with shipping to ensure products are packaged, loaded, and delivered properly
    • Establish and track KPIs around productivity, quality, and overall department performance
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability
    • Conduct new-hire and annual performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
    • Remove roadblocks that keep the team from performing at its best
    • 50+ hour weeks primarily Monday through Friday but could require some Saturdays to maintain production schedule ass needed. 

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years of production management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Strong ability to identify bottlenecks and turn problems into practical solutions
    • Experience with budgets, forecasting, KPIs, and performance metrics
    • Ability to identify and implement cost-saving strategies
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Comfortable leading, coaching, and holding teams accountable
    • Solid Microsoft Office and general computer skills
    • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, dependable, and able to juggle multiple priorities
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Degree in Production Operations or a related field preferred, but relevant manufacturing leadership experience can take its place
