What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?Repair and maintain all assets within the production facility. The Production Maintenance Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don't occurSchedule and conduct preventive maintenance to pro long the useful life of equipment. This is done regularly as assigned by the businessPrior to production changes this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for productionOverhaul and install new equipment on to machines as directed by the businessRebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventoryAttend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and eventsPerforms other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree/certificate requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageMust become forklift certified within 1 month of hireAbility to perform essential functions with little or no supervisionAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the businessAbility to lift 50 pounds
