Production/Machine Operator's Needed

Our client, a manufacturing company in Portland, PA is in need of PRODUCTION WORKERS – Full Time

                                                                        OverNight Shift

                                                      Night Shift – 7pm to 7am – rotating shift

                                                                               $18 / per hour

  Essential Daily Responsibilities

• Load raw materials on to machine conveyor belt, i.e., grinders and shredders
• Follow equipment procedures to keep line running
• Use forklift to transfer material
• Follow production schedule to fulfill orders
• Abide by all safety policies and practices
• Maintain a clean work area
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
• 2-week rotational 2*2*3 schedule: Sun, Wed, Thurs and Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat

 Physical Qualifications

• Lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds
• Standing for an extended period of time
• Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist and reach
• Work in both hot and cold conditions

 Job Requirements

• Candidate must be able to read and write English but not necessarily fluently (understand and able to communicate)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Be a dependable self-starter with a desire to learn and cross train
• Have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, follow direction, and excellent attendance
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus, but not necessary
