Production Line Support Technician

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Rate: $19.52/hr
• Shift Differential: +$0.26/hr
• Status: Hourly, Full-Time
• Shift: 3rd Shift, 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (expect 8–12-hour shift commitments)
• Location: 100 E. Oakton St, Des Plaines, IL 60018

Role Highlights

• Assist operators with machine operation, staging, and basic troubleshooting
• Read and follow work orders and machine instructions
• Conduct quality checks and record findings
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform housekeeping tasks
• Champion safe work practices at all times
• Help monitor and reduce material waste to achieve production goals
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and willingness to work full, extended shifts

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe work practices and PPE use
• Basic math proficiency; comfortable with measurements (tape measure)
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
• Ability to read, review, and understand work orders
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Mechanical inclination is beneficial

Preferred Experience/Proficiencies

• Heavy material handling
• Forklift licensed
• Packaging experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Manufacturing environment experience
