Compensation & schedule
- Pay: $20.00–$28.00 per hour (experience-based)
- Shifts: All 3 shifts
- Employment: Full-time, Non-Union
- Hours: Minimum 48 hours weekly
- Weekend work: Required
- Overtime: Required as needed
- Location: In person
What you’ll own
- End-to-end operation of production machinery—start-ups, changeovers, and shut-downs.
- Real-time monitoring to catch issues early and sustain quality and throughput.
- Basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to reduce downtime.
- Proper escalation to Maintenance for complex diagnostics and repairs.
- Execution of routine and reactive maintenance; contribution to preventive maintenance.
- Thorough equipment inspections for wear, leaks, damage, or abnormal noise.
- Reading and applying equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
- Hands-on work with fillers, labelers, packers, conveyors, palletizers, and related systems.
- Accurate completion of production and maintenance documentation.
- Housekeeping: maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Partnership with Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Production teams.
- Compliance with safety, GMP, food safety, quality, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in machine operation, mechanical work, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and baseline troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Skill in identifying problems and carrying out minor adjustments and repairs.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Consistent, reliable attendance.
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, and a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Comfort operating around moving industrial machinery.
Preferred experience
- Beverage, food, packaging, or industrial manufacturing settings.
- Exposure to fillers, labelers, packers, palletizers, conveyors, and similar equipment.
- Background in equipment set-up, adjustment, repair, or modification.
- Forklift or pallet jack operation.
Physical requirements
- Standing and walking for long periods.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
- Working around moving machinery, noise, and production materials.
- Operating in hot, cold, wet, or fast-moving production areas.
- Use of all required PPE.
