Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Production Lead to oversee first-shift manufacturing operations in Miami, OK. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this leadership position is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, ensuring productivity and quality goals are achieved, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with manufacturing experience who can motivate employees, support production operations, and serve as a reliable resource for both the production team and management.



Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership role
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred
• Scepter forklift certification required
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and production processes
• Excellent mechanical, mathematical, and analytical aptitude
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and time management skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement



Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead daily production activities to achieve productivity, quality, and schedule objectives
• Coordinate employee assignments and production rotations based on staffing and production requirements
• Monitor machinery and equipment for proper operation and respond to equipment issues as needed
• Safely start, stop, and monitor production equipment while following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Perform production duties and provide coverage for employee breaks, absences, and staffing shortages
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching, cross-training, and retraining when necessary
• Lead daily housekeeping efforts to maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas
• Promote a positive work environment using Servant Leadership principles while reinforcing company policies and safety standards
• Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor when required
• Complete additional production and operational duties as assigned



Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong troubleshooting and equipment operation skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and departments



Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and manufacturing equipment
• Must wear required PPE and comply with all company safety procedures

• Industrial manufacturing facility with active production operations
• Exposure to production machinery, forklifts, industrial equipment, noise, and moving mechanical parts
