Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (Must be flexible with your availability)
 Schedule Options: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Production Shift Lead to join their 24/7 manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing production activities, supporting machine operations, troubleshooting process and equipment issues, and ensuring a safe and productive shift.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead a team while remaining actively involved in production. The Production Shift Lead will serve as the primary point of contact during their assigned shift and work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and other production teams to maintain consistent production and product quality.

This position includes extensive training, including the opportunity for up to 3 months of training in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate production activities throughout the assigned shift
  • Operate media production equipment and provide hands-on support to production operators
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for shift-related production issues and escalations
  • Ensure employees follow all safety procedures, operating standards, and company policies
  • Monitor production performance and product quality and take corrective action when necessary
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, process, and equipment issues in partnership with Maintenance and Engineering
  • Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and product changeovers
  • Train and coach employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices
  • Coordinate shift coverage, breaks, and workflow to maintain continuous production
  • Communicate effectively with other shifts and support departments, including Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and waste reduction
  • Promote a safe, team-oriented, and productive work environment
