Production Inventory Control Specialist

Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10-hour shifts
Job Type: Full-Time

A day in this role

When you arrive, you’ll head straight to incoming materials—verifying part numbers, quantities, and documentation so production can run without surprises. You’ll post receipts, reconcile counts, and update Epicor so records match what’s on the shelves. As work orders are released, you’ll pick and kit parts, double-check accuracy, and stage materials right where they’re needed—whether that’s for general assembly or electronics/SMT builds. Later in the day, you’ll cycle count priority items, prep finished products for shipment (pull, pack, label), and jump in on shipping/receiving or a quick quality inspection as needed. Throughout it all, you’ll keep the warehouse tidy, operate pallet jacks safely, complete required documentation, and follow company quality and safety procedures.

What you’ll handle

  • Receive materials; verify part numbers, quantities, and paperwork
  • Maintain accurate inventory in Epicor; enter receipts, shipments, adjustments
  • Perform routine cycle counts and reconcile variances
  • Pick and kit components for production work orders
  • Verify all kits before release to production
  • Stage materials to support production schedules and availability
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment: pull, pack, and ship
  • Assist with shipping/receiving and quality inspection as needed
  • Organize warehouse and inventory areas for efficiency and safety
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
  • Assist with inventory and component preparation for electronics/SMT production
  • Complete all required inventory, shipping, and production documentation
  • Adhere to company quality and safety procedures

Focus tracks (multiple openings)

  • Shipping/Receiving + Warehouse Inventory: Intake, accuracy checks, storage, and outbound logistics
  • Inventory + Material Kitting for Electronics/SMT: Component control, SMT kit accuracy, and line support

What sets you up for success

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, material handling, or manufacturing preferred
  • Comfort with computers and data entry
  • Meticulous attention to detail; organized and self-directed
  • Clear communicator and reliable team contributor
  • Can lift and carry up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to pass required background check and drug screen

  • Epicor or other ERP/inventory systems
