Results Statement: Successful completion of the internship will result in a thorough and improved understanding of the residential construction industry and marketable skills within the industry. Additionally, participation in the Eagle Academy will lead to productive feedback and provide an environment which fosters growth through learning.
Key Accountabilities (100% of the Internship):
a. Observe collaborative team meetings and workflow assignments in each of the four main areas of Eagle Construction: Sales, Design, & Marketing, Financial & Land Acquisition Management, Field Operations(Development & Production), and Preconstruction (Purchasing/Estimating/Drafting).
b. Engage in relationship-building by asking questions of Eagle Employees and "Rotation Supervisor" during the introductory period to help clarify responsibilities of team members as part of the Eagle Construction Process.
a. Work within one of the four main areas of Eagle Construction as a focus for the remainder of the internship, working directly for a supervising "Mentor" and perform real-time tasks to further the goals of that department.
b. Attend weekly one-on-one feedback sessions with the Mentor to seek clarity of roles, set learning goals, and further foster an understanding of the overall vision of Eagle Construction of VA.
a. Prepare for and participate in an extensive interview process with supervisor, a member of the Eagle Leadership Team, and Human Capital Manager, to discuss: the overall experience; your performance related to the goals you and your mentor set, the industry, and potential paths forward as you complete your education.
