Production Team Member – Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is looking for dependable, energetic, and team-focused Production Team Members to join our team. If you enjoy staying busy, working with a great team, and taking pride in preparing quality food, we’d love to meet you.

As a Production Team Member, you'll help prepare our menu items according to Pizza Hut standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant.

What You'll Do

As a Production Team Member, you'll play an important role in preparing quality food for our guests. You will:

• Prepare Pizza Hut menu items according to recipes, procedures, and brand standards
• Prepare pizzas, wings, sides, and other menu items accurately and efficiently
• Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients as assigned
• Follow proper portioning and product-build procedures
• Operate ovens, fryers, and other commercial restaurant equipment safely
• Monitor cooking times and ensure products meet quality standards
• Cut, package, and prepare completed orders for guests and delivery
• Verify orders for accuracy and presentation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
• Follow required cooking, holding, and temperature-control procedures
• Immediately notify restaurant leadership if food may be unsafe or does not meet required standards
• Prevent cross-contamination and follow proper handwashing and glove procedures
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products
• Follow FIFO and product-rotation procedures
• Maintain clean and organized food preparation and production areas
• Clean equipment, utensils, dishes, floors, counters, and work areas as assigned
• Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift
• Communicate with team members to ensure fast and accurate order preparation
• Work with a sense of urgency during busy periods while maintaining food quality and safety
• Minimize food waste by following proper portioning and preparation procedures
• Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures as assigned
• Support other restaurant positions and team members as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions consistently
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and food safety
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to safely work around hot ovens, fryers, cooking equipment, hot surfaces, and hot food products
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks required for restaurant operations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
