Production - Forklift Operator

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma
• Current license for Forklift and Reach Experience & Skills:
• 2-3 years of forklift operator experience (within a food manufacturing environment an asset)
• Positive and team player attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as required, which may include some evenings and weekends

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Staging raw product on production floor for the purpose of emptying bins and totes onto the production line.
• Verify accuracy of purchase order numbers in accordance with the production schedule.
• Pre and post inspection of forklift.
• Perform house-keeping duties and maintaining cleanliness of work area.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety laws and regulations and EarthFresh GMPs/policies and procedures.
• Other duties as required by the Production Manager, Raw Product and/or Production Supervisor.
