Production & Fabrication Manager

This position combines shop leadership with technical fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical/instrumentation work, quality control, and production coordination. Job Duties: Lead daily shop production while remaining hands-on with structural fitting/welding, PVC pipe fitting and assembly, and general fabrication.

TradeWorX is hiring a hands-on Production & Fabrication Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Eighty Four, PA. This position combines shop leadership with technical fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical/instrumentation work, quality control, and production coordination. We are looking for an experienced shop leader who can manage people and production while remaining technically involved in the work.

Pay & Overtime:

• Up to $100, 000 annually

Schedule:

• Primarily in-house shop/production work in Eighty Four, PA
• Travel required as needed for installations
• Specific work hours to be confirmed

Job Duties:

• Lead daily shop production while remaining hands-on with structural fitting/welding, PVC pipe fitting and assembly, and general fabrication.
• Support motor and instrumentation installation, wiring, pressure testing, and system assembly.
• Read fabrication drawings, control panel drawings, and wiring schematics and work with system designers to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Monitor production progress, troubleshoot delays, maintain schedules, and uphold quality assurance/control standards.
• Enforce safety and PPE requirements and train team members on proper equipment utilization and safe work practices.
• Manage inventory, incoming shipments, packing lists, shipping paperwork, and professional communication with customers and vendors.

Requirements:

• Previous production, fabrication, shop leadership, or closely related supervisory experience.
• Strong hands-on fabrication and mechanical assembly capabilities.
• Working knowledge of electrical/instrumentation installation and wiring.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, control panel drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Outlook, with willingness to travel for installations as needed.
