Production Engineer

Bala Cynwyd, PA (Philadelphia Area)

Key Facts

• 3+ years of experience operating or remotely monitoring gas plants or similar industrial systems
• Technical certification, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Approximately 25% domestic travel required, including overnight travel; occasional international travel may be required
• Landfill gas or Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) experience is a plus
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required

About the Position - Responsibilities & Duties

• Remotely monitor and operate WAGABOX® facilities to maximize safety, reliability, and performance
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, working with field technicians to implement corrective actions
• Analyze operating data to identify root causes of failures and performance issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate records within CMMS platforms, logs, and operational tracking tools
• Travel to operating sites as needed to support troubleshooting and operational activities
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, regulations, and industry standards
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support facility operations

About You - Qualifications & Skills 

• Technical certification, Associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, industrial technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience operating, monitoring, or troubleshooting gas plants or similar industrial facilities
• Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience analyzing operational data to identify and resolve performance issues
• Knowledge of process engineering principles and operational optimization practices
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs, equipment documentation, and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently
• Landfill gas or Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) experience is a plus
