Production Designer

JOB TITLE: Production Designer
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Hybrid)
PAY RANGE: $60 - $70/hr
DURATION: 6 Months

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an exceptional production designer with a strong background in brand, digital, print, and design production. The ideal candidate can take a concept and bring it to life in new and inspiring ways. This is a hands-on design role for someone who thrives in the space between design and organization. QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience at a creative agency or in-house design studio
• A solid portfolio of work demonstrating experience in design production, presentation design, a good eye for design, typography, conceptual thinking, and layout design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Extremely detail-oriented and quality-driven
• Experience working on design systems, toolkit development, and production-ready content
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Advanced proficiency in presentation software (Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and update presentation decks for various teams
• Design event print assets, support and review production files and samples
• Create, revise, and maintain individual and large libraries of files
• Design marketing materials (digital and print) + contribute to the production process (email headers, etc)
• Create and update design assets (mockups, copy, color, icons, etc)
• Develop design resources, toolkits, and templates
• Support exploration of design components
• Troubleshoot issues with design files
• Conduct extensive design audits

• Is a problem solver, a creative thinker, and pushes boundaries
• Has an expert understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion
• Has experience in large asset production
• Strong presentation design skills and knowledgeable about the content production process
• Likes to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
• Is interested in new technology
• Thinks fast and can prioritize tasks
• Implements feedback swiftly and accurately, and can problem-solve on design feedback/content conundrums
• Has experience with digital, UI, web, and print

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor s degree in Graphic/Visual Design or related field
