SNELLING is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Data & Inventory Clerk for a seasonal position with a local company. This position is expected to begin in late October, with interviews taking place prior to the start date.
This Production Data & Inventory Clerk position will be Temporary, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for the time of the project. Pay will be $16-$17.50/hr.
Although this role includes data entry, much of the work will take place on the production floor, counting products and ensuring everything moving through the line is accurately accounted for.
Job Responsibilities
- Count products and materials moving through the production line
- Accurately record and enter production information
- Verify quantities and identify missing items or discrepancies
- Watch for anything incorrect or out of the ordinary
- Communicate counting or inventory concerns to the appropriate team member
- Assist with cleaning and keeping work areas organized
- Support production and warehouse activities as needed
- Move between responsibilities based on daily production needs
- Follow instructions, procedures, and workplace safety guidelines
- Step in to help the team without needing to be prompted
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and counting skills
- Comfortable using a computer and 10-key number entry
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good judgment and common sense
- Dependable, hardworking, and punctual
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to perform a variety of duties
- Ability to recognize errors, discrepancies, or unusual activity
- Previous data-entry, inventory, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Must be able to stand and work on your feet for most of the shift
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Warehouse temperatures may be hot or cold depending on the season
- Must be able to work around an active production line
- Some cleaning and general production support will be required
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Saturdays as required based on production needs: 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Candidates must be flexible and available to work required Saturdays when needed.
Assignment Length
This is a temporary seasonal position beginning in late October, with the busiest period typically running from November through January. Staffing needs and schedules may decrease after January, but opportunities may be available for dependable employees to continue working through June.
