Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Job Duties

• Operate large-format cutting machines to cut fabric according to production specifications and measurements.
• Use calculators, patterns, and production instructions to determine proper cut sizes.
• Review production orders and prioritize work based on shipping schedules and deadlines.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic equipment upkeep.
• Verify correct fabric types are used for each production order.
• Inspect materials for defects such as slubs, waves, banding, and other quality concerns.
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns to supervisors or leads when necessary.
• Monitor fabric quantities and report discrepancies or material shortages.
• Maintain production accuracy while meeting quality and productivity goals.
• Assist with other production, manufacturing, or warehouse tasks as needed.

Experience Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to read and follow production orders accurately.
• Basic math skills with the ability to use calculators and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to identify fabric defects and report quality concerns.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of color recognition and color-matching concepts is a plus.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks requiring precision and accuracy.
• Ability to visually inspect fabrics and finished materials for quality issues.
