We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Production Lead to join our
production team in Soledad, California. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced food production environment and enjoy leading teams to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
Schedule:- Full-time 2nd. Shift
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Duties:- Coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals.
- Assign employees to production lines and workstations.
- Prepare production run sequences and oversee product changeovers.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, food safety, and company safety standards.
- Monitor quality checks and verify production requirements.
- Coordinate employee breaks, lunches, and shift transitions.
- Communicate production updates and issues with supervisors.
- Assist with rework, scale mezzanine operations, and box room management.
- Perform production duties as needed and support continuous operations.
Qualifications- Previous production experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 34°F).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 20 pounds overhead.
- Comfortable working around production equipment and machinery.
