Production Coordinator

Industrial Industry Experience within steel, metal distribution, or industrial manufacturing (familiarity with raw metals like bar, sheet, plate, or tubing is highly preferred). Prior experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Junior Buyer, Sourcing Assistant, or Production Planner, Order taking & Processing Orders.

Qualifications:

• Industrial Industry Experience within steel, metal distribution, or industrial manufacturing (familiarity with raw metals like bar, sheet, plate, or tubing is highly preferred).
• Prior experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Junior Buyer, Sourcing Assistant, or Production Planner, Order taking & Processing Orders. 
• Comfort learning custom ERP software alongside proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general office data entry.
• Detail-Oriented Mindset: Proven ability to accurately track order measurements, pricing, and technical specifications while consistently meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong Communication Aptitude: Exceptional written skills for heavy email correspondence paired with a professional, friendly phone presence.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently field, input, and process approximately 20 inbound orders per day using a proprietary ERP system.
• Manage heavy email volume via Outlook (90% of correspondence) alongside phone calls and occasional walk-in clients.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of your orders from initial intake through production and final shipping delivery.
• Coordinate directly with vendors and distributors to purchase or transfer materials when items are out of stock.
• Learn customer buying patterns and specific product requirements to maintain a reliable, high-service reputation.
