POSITION SUMMARY: Support all large format design needs campus-wide.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage workflow of production projects
- Support Marketing for campus events (all forms of signage for audience experience)
- Manage canvas framing projects
- Create and install facilities and directional signage
- Create and install University displays and exhibits
- Create and install University fleet graphics (not required)
- Operate and maintain production equipment
- Manage quality control of all production projects
- Interface with customers on graphic production requirements/maintain customer relations
- Maintain inventory of production-related materials
- Coordinates all production related projects
- Oversee project estimating and billing
- Assist other Marketing operations as needed
- Assist other University departments as needed
- Maintain and build relationships with vendors
- Support all university departments especially enrollment team
- Works with Director of Marketing on new equipment proposals/purchases and installations
- Maintains all maintenance and daily use of all large format printers
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated experience in the signage industry
- Experience with graphic color management
- Experience with and expertise in digital wide format output systems
- Knowledge of signage regulations (ADA, OSHA, etc.)
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to manage/execute multiple priority projects simultaneously preferred
- Professional in appearance and presentation
- Effective in oral and written communication
- Minimum of 5 years sign industry experience
- BA or BS preferred, Associate's degree requried
