Primary Purpose:Assists in conducting daily activities related to production work, to include organizing orders, staging, and completing associated documentation and reports to ensure on-hand materials are available for scheduled production plans.Duties/Responsibilities:Creates and prints work orders for machine production, hose production and select fabricationCloses work orders for the fabrication departmentScans, prints and distributes .pdf copies of work ordersProduces job packets required for machine productionInitiates deviations, as needed, for work orders, based on OOS components or BOM updatesGenerates production reports on machines, hoses and select fabricationAssists in constructing production schedules for machines, hoses and fabricationAdjusts hose and fabrication schedules based on production scheduleRequests transfers of selected fabricated parts to and from other warehousesModifies schedules, as needed, to account for material deliveriesWorks with the production teams to support raw material variances for hoses and fabricationMonitors the status of multiple work orders and provides reports to managementOther duties as may be assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Basic knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and MPS (Master Production Schedule)Working knowledge of ERP systems for production work ordersSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced skill with Excel; experienced with scanning/copying and data entryAble to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalismEducation and Experience:2-5 years' experience in production operationsHigh School diploma or GED required
