Advance Services is hiring a Production Cook in Madison, NE! Join a hands-on food production environment with a great team and an opportunity to learn new skills.

Pay: $19.50/hour
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Madison, NE
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Job Duties

• Assist with cooking and processing food products according to instructions
• Operate liquefiers, pumps, kettles, forklifts, and other equipment
• Monitor product temperatures and follow production instructions
• Add ingredients in the correct sequence
• Stage and transfer materials throughout the production area
• Complete required production and temperature records
• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas
• Prepare equipment for the next production day
• Follow all GMP, FDA, SQF, food-safety, and company safety procedures

Requirements

• Manufacturing or food production experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, crouch, and stoop
• Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 55 lbs.
• Must wear required PPE and follow strict sanitation and food-safety procedures
