Join Indotronix as a Production Controller 1 in El Segundo, CA, and play a crucial part in supporting the production of cutting-edge industrial and commercial products. This onsite, entry-level opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented individuals passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring timely product delivery. As a valued team member, you''ll interact with multiple departments, gaining hands-on experience in production control and inventory management.
[Responsibilities]
- Maintain and monitor schedules for material requirements and availability to support production goals
- Compile and update records on material quantity, cost, type, inventory, and production status
- Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies across departments to meet production and shipping schedules
- Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to prioritize work-in-progress (WIP) and resolve constraints
- Execute SAP and MES system transactions such as releasing work orders, receiving inventory, and closing out manufacturing orders
- Identify and proactively address potential material shortages, initiating corrective actions
- Estimate and log production rates, time expenditures, and establish operation sequences to meet deadlines
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in MS 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to obtain and maintain equipment licensing (e.g., electric carts, forklift, reachlift)
[Preferred Skills]
- SAP experience
- Manufacturing or warehouse environment experience
