Production Control & Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Control & Supply Chain Manager to oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain operations for a manufacturing facility in the Athens, GA area. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP, MRP, and production scheduling experience, along with proven leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.

Position Title: Production Control & Supply Chain Manager
Pay: $100,000 - $115,000+/year
Location: Athens, GA
Type: Direct Hire


Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Control & Supply Chain Manager to oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain operations for a manufacturing facility in the Athens, GA area. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP, MRP, and production scheduling experience, along with proven leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity requirements
• Oversee MRP processes and material planning to ensure operational continuity
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, sales, and purchasing teams to maintain schedule alignment
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage purchasing activities, vendor performance, and supplier relationships
• Monitor inventory, shipping, receiving, and material flow throughout the facility
• Track key performance metrics, analyze costs, and identify process improvement opportunities
• Lead and develop production control, logistics, and supply chain personnel

Requirements:

• 5+ years of production control, production planning, or manufacturing support experience
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and production scheduling
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Experience with Visual ERP, Infor ERP, or similar enterprise systems
