The Production Control Supervisor on Y shift will lead a team of hourly workforce and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. This individual will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
Lead, support, and motivate the hourly workforce by fostering a positive environment focused on safety, productivity, quality, and meeting customer delivery expectations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop and implement plans that align with business objectives
Uphold and enforce all safety standards by identifying and reporting hazards, leading incident investigations, ensuring compliance with safety/environmental programs, and owning relevant safety initiatives alongside team members
Actively promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace, ensuring operations meet required standards and supporting company-wide sustainability goals
Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds, and frequently pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching
Work in dynamic environments, including extended periods of standing or walking (up to 12 hours), and exposure to varying noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions-especially in outdoor loading areas
Complete additional projects and duties as assigned to support the operational success and continuous improvement of the facility
2-4 years of supervisory experience in material flow, material handling, or warehousing, including experience managing people and budgets
Flexible availability to work any shift as needed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools with working knowledge of inventory and warehouse management systems
Capable of operating manual or powered pallet jacks and handling physical tasks as required
Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to lead team-based decision-making, provide and receive constructive feedback, and motivate others
Proven ability to thrive in unstructured, results-oriented settings, making quick tradeoff decisions and driving outcomes independently
