    Description

    The Production Control Manager is responsible for managing production scheduling, inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and logistics activities to support customer delivery requirements. This position will lead a small team and work closely with production, customers, and suppliers to ensure materials are available, shipments are made on time, and inventory is accurate.

    The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and experienced in automotive manufacturing, production planning, warehouse operations, and team supervision.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Production Control

    •Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.

    •Monitor customer releases and adjust schedules as needed.

    •Ensure materials are available to support production requirements.

    •Coordinate production priorities with manufacturing personnel.

    •Track production performance and delivery schedules.

    •Respond to material shortages and production issues that impact customer deliveries.

    Inventory & Warehouse Operations

    •Manage inventory levels and ensure inventory accuracy.

    •Oversee receiving, storage, and movement of materials throughout the facility.

    •Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory activities.

    •Ensure material is available at production lines when needed.

    •Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas.

    Shipping, Receiving & Logistics

    •Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.

    •Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and customer paperwork.

    •Schedule transportation and communicate with carriers as needed.

    •Manage inbound and outbound material flow for MTM and MNAO operations.

    •Support forklift and material handling activities while ensuring safe operations.

    Administrative Responsibilities

    •Issue production and inventory-related documents and reports.

    •Order production-related parts and supplies as required.

    •Prepare reports, presentations, and annual planning documents using Excel, PowerPoint, and other business tools.

    •Maintain records and support customer and internal audits.

    Leadership Responsibilities

    •Supervise and support a small team of warehouse, logistics, and production control personnel.

    •Create employee training plans and provide ongoing training.

    •Monitor employee performance and promote a positive work environment.

    •Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

    Qualifications

    •3+ years of experience in Production Control, Materials Management, Inventory Control, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations in a manufacturing environment.

    •Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

    •Experience with production scheduling and inventory management.

    •Ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.

    •Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    •Forklift and warehouse operations experience preferred.

    •Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
