Production Control Coordinator

They/she/he will partner closely with our Fulfillment Managers, Supervisors, and internal teams to keep production moving – tracking daily goals, adjusting plans in real time when things shift, and catching potential issues before they ever reach a customer. As our Production Control Coordinator, you’ll be the on-the-ground support for our outbound teams, making sure orders move through picking, packing, and shipping accurately, on time, and within the service commitments our partners count on.

Job Overview (What You’ll Do):

As our Production Control Coordinator, you’ll be the on-the-ground support for our outbound teams, making sure orders move through picking, packing, and shipping accurately, on time, and within the service commitments our partners count on.

They/she/he will partner closely with our Fulfillment Managers, Supervisors, and internal teams to keep production moving – tracking daily goals, adjusting plans in real time when things shift, and catching potential issues before they ever reach a customer. This role is a great way to support our growing llama-fans - our customers - as Cotopaxi continues to expand its reach nationally and internationally!

Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Do It):

• Be on the ground supporting outbound teams and perform daily tasks as assigned in NetSuite and JASCI.
• Be proactive. Provide timely and accurate production trends and identify any potential issues with current orders. Track work flows by channel, ensuring accurate tracking and communication is provided.
• Help elevate the process. Develop reporting on individual productivity and share feedback on current production procedures and trends with leadership and collectively develop solutions to streamline.
• Be a communication wizard! Partner with key internal teams to ensure the production plan is up to date and aligns with sales initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate (What You’ll Bring):

• 1-3 years of experience in a picking, packing, and shipping department. Experience in production, scheduling, data analysis, systems support, or continuous improvement is a plus.
• A strong proactive communicator – you can talk shop with customers and teammates alike, and you’re comfortable using tools like G-Suite and Slack to keep everyone in the loop.
• Proficiency in platforms that support customer service and production, such as NetSuite, Kustomer, Shopify, JASCI, or Loop.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to support all internal and external stakeholders.
• A self-starter and creative problem-solver who tackles challenges with optimism, curiosity, and has a knack for adapting on the fly.
• A humanitarian at heart, and someone who believes in our Do Good mission.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet – this is an active role.
