    About the Company
    Weastec, Inc. was founded in 1988 as a subsidiary of Toyodenso Co. Ltd., a global leader electrical switches, electronics and sensors. Weastec supplies these products to the North American Automotive, Powersports and Power Equipment markets.
    The Hillsboro headquarters, a production facility in scenic southwestern Ohio, is conveniently located to deliver product directly to major OEMs such as Honda, Toyota and Volkswagen. Weastec prides itself on superior quality and world-class supply chain management, both of which are managed from the Hillsboro facility.
    In 2005, the Weastec Technical Center was established in the Columbus, Ohio suburb of Dublin. The technical center is responsible for design, development and testing of new products and is the customer liaison throughout the new product creation cycle. 
    In 2022, Weastec reopened the Greenfield operations facility and began the introduction of automated assembly lines. This location also serves as additional warehouse space for the Hillsboro headquarters. 

    Job Summary
    Learn all aspects of and become proficient in the following Production Control areas: Scheduling, Procurement, Specifications, Inventory Control and Warehousing. Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers and Toyo Denso.

    Key Responsibilities
    •   Access and review the TEC GNET (Global Network System) database daily for internal design changes applicable to Weastec.
    •     Responsible for daily input of TEC design changes into the item master file, item balance file and product structure files within the lnfor XA database.
    .•   Adjust Bill of Material (BOM) item changeover effective dates from old to new design changes within the lnfor XA database.  Perform system audits to confirm BOM accuracy.
    •   Records all design change information and disseminates to those involved.
    •   Investigate with internal departments and TEC to respond to Customer initiated Design Changes as required via the various customer information-sharing portals. (Includes New Model and Mass Production)
    •     Responsible for transferring part numbers from one internal department number to another in the lnfor XA database after receiving instruction from the Production or Quality Departments.
    Compiles and maintains computer database of item master records and product structures, withing the Infor XA database, as obtained from TEC and internal sources such as the WTEC New Model Group.
    •   Communicates daily with internal and external customers, including TEC, to achieve assigned tasks.
    •   Enter and maintain part cost contracts and other relevant costing information into lnfor XA database.
    •    Understand and support internal processes to track and control inventory movement. Support the
    reconciliation of discrepancies between physical counts and system records to ensure the generation of reliable inventory data within the Infor XA database. Support the investigation of inventory adjustments and processing within the system.
    •   Support other activities within the department as assigned to include the completion of daily, monthly and quarterly department reports.
    •   The successful candidate will participate in a progressive training program designed to develop proficiency across Production Control functions, including specifications management, inventory control, scheduling, procurement, and data management. As knowledge and experience expand, the associate may assume additional responsibilities, participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives, and pursue advancement opportunities.

    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree with relevant experience.
    Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook, Department specific Database Software,
