Production Clerk II

The Production Clerk II must have manufacturing experience as they will work under the close supervision of the Inventory & Systems Control Manager to perform clerical duties including, M2M training for production planning office maintaining logs, typing, filing, entering data, completing forms and delivering documents. Job Duties
- Log drawings as received; review drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for missing or conflicting information
- Enter standard routings into the Made2Manage (M2M) system
- Consult with supervisors and leads as needed for operation times and sequences
- Compare component part drawings with assembly drawings and follow up with Production or Engineering for any discrepancies
- Release travelers
- Research information on Job Orders as required
- Work closely with Engineering to resolve problems with blueprints, sales, and shop floor when information needs clarification
- Prepare and release stock travelers, including replenish, outside process and internal use
- Release job pick list and stock item drawings to Stock Room
- File change orders and BOMs
- Communicate with shop supervisors to solve problems as required
- Provide back-up telephone coverage for Receptionist
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years experience as production clerk I
- Knowledge of basic shop functions and blueprints preferred
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
