Position Summary:
Responsible for performing a variety of production and manufacturing tasks while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The Production Employee will work as part of a team to ensure products are manufactured, inspected, packaged, and prepared for shipment according to company specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform assembly, processing, and general production duties according to work instructions.
- Load and unload materials and products from production equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality, defects, and proper specifications.
- Measure and verify products as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Package, label, and prepare completed products for shipment or the next stage of production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production guidelines.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and documentation.
- Monitor equipment and report malfunctions, quality issues, or material shortages to the supervisor.
- Meet established production goals and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Work effectively with team members and assist with other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
