Production Associate

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Associates to support daily manufacturing and assembly operations at a production facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This position may perform a variety of duties, including gluing, product inspection/checking, machine setup, and moving materials or finished products. 

The ideal candidate has previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, is comfortable working with machinery and hand tools, and can accurately follow work instructions and quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. 

• Support assembly and production operations by gluing, checking, setting up, and moving products and materials as needed. 
• Operate and assist with production machines and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines. 
• Inspect products and components for quality, accuracy, defects, and proper assembly. 
• Use tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify product dimensions and specifications. 
• Set up work areas and equipment, stage materials, and move products throughout the production area. 
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when qualified and authorized. 
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly, production, and material-handling tasks. 
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality requirements while maintaining accurate and consistent work. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. 
• Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs, quality concerns, and workflow. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
