Production Associate - Peeler Department
Are you ready to contribute your skills to an innovative manufacturing team? Were seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our Peeler Department, where your attention to detail and strong work ethic will help drive our manufacturing success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency every step of the way.
In this position, you'll play a key role in daily operations, working closely with the Peeler Operator to meet production goals, accurately label and package finished goods, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Your efforts will help ensure that our products meet high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness making a tangible impact in automotive fabrication.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in machine operation, preferably in a chemical-related manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, read tape measures, and demonstrate basic math skills
- Strong reasoning skills to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions
- Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English
- Ability to manually transport finished goods, load scrap foam onto conveyors, and store products properly
- Maintain inventory control and ensure product is free of dirt and defects
- Prioritize safety and quality in all tasks
Nice to Have Skills:
- Cross-training experience on equipment such as Hole Borer and Deskinner
- Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer data entry
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing or automotive environments highly desirable
