Job Duration: 4 months on W2
Job Summary:
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements in a safe manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
- Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
- Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize negative impact.
- Participate in HSE training.
Quality:
- Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
- Perform quality inspections.
- Identify and control non-conforming material.
Delivery:
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet required characteristics and dimensions in line with customer expectations.
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills.
- Achieve production goals.
- Work at required cycle time or defined engineering standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
- Perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.
- Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
Teamwork:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- Experience in a production setting and use of tools is required.
- Experience operating forklifts and/or cranes is a plus.
- Valid driver s license required.
