**Goodyear Lawton is currently seeking Production Associates. Our production workforce supports the tire manufacturing process in various machine operations. **
**Starting Range **– $20.24-22.85/hr
Shift Differential – Rotating Bonus $0.75
Wage progression
start at 70% of the rate and increase 10% every 6 months until at full rate.
General Wage increase. This is looked at twice per year but is not guaranteed.

As a Production Associate, you will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products in one of Goodyear's manufacturing plants. Requirements to become a successful candidate are:
High school diploma or GED.
Successful completion of a background check & drug test.
Successful completion of pre-employment assessment.
Job specific physical work capabilities exercises.
Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing and/or industrial experience
Previous experience as Production Associate in a manufacturing plant
Additional education and/or certification in manufacturing
Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards

About Company
Looking back, the founding of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1898 seems especially remarkable, for the beginning was anything but auspicious. The 38-year-old founder, Frank A. Seiberling, purchased the company's first plant with a $3,500 down payment -- using money he borrowed from a brother-in-law Lucius C. Miles. The rubber and cotton that were the lifeblood of the industry had to be transported from halfway around the world, to a landlocked town that had only limited rail transportation.
