Production Assistant – Manufacturing | $18–$22/hr.
Day Shift | Flexible Schedule – 20–40 Hours per Week
Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a hands-on job in manufacturing? If so, this job is for you! A local manufacturing facility in the Rock Valley, IA area is looking for a Production Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will help prepare materials, assist production employees, and keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist production staff with daily manufacturing and assembly tasks.
- Prepare and organize materials, tools, and supplies for production.
- Operate basic production equipment and hand tools as trained.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality.
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or the next stage of production.
- Move materials and finished goods safely throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete basic production paperwork and report any equipment or quality issues.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds.
