Production Assistant

The Production Assistant supports daily operations at our bottling facility by assisting with product preparation, bottling, packaging, labeling, and quality control. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment while ensuring products meet quality standards and production goals.

Location: Prime Aged Spirits (5220 Elmwood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203)

What you will do:

• Assist in all facets of production from processing and blending operations to the labeling a bottling process

• Responsible for appropriate processing/ bottling procedures and safety guidelines

• Participation in or guiding occasional educational tours and product tasting for key account personnel 

• Maintains facility in accordance with or exceeding local and federal health regulations

• Communicate maintenance requests through the Production Manager
• Assist in the completion of an accurate inventory of all supplies

What you will bring:

• 1-3 years related job experience preferred
• Must maintain certification to operate a forklift which includes being at least 21 years of age
• Proficient knowledge of production processes and procedures including ordering, safety, and cleanliness
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach above shoulder height, and lift/ carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and other material handling equipment
