Production Assembly Worker

7am-5pm, Monday-Thursday (OT on Friday)

$14.00-17.70/hr (DOE & Department)

About the Job:
The Production Associate helps with food processing, packaging, and material handling in a poultry processing facility. Duties may include handling poultry, trimming and cutting products, packaging finished goods, and operating production equipment.  You may work in different areas of the facility as needed while following food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily production tasks, including processing, cutting, trimming, and packaging

  • Operate equipment and tools safely

  • Check products for quality and accuracy

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and company guidelines

  • Report equipment problems or safety concerns to supervisors

  • Follow work instructions

  • Work with team members to meet production goals

  • Help in different areas as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.

  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Must have the ability to safely use tools and equipment.

  • Must be able to work extended shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
