Assembler

Only qualified assembler candidates located near the Sumter South Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience: Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience

Medical device fabrication and assembly

Manufacturing and packaging equipment

Tech Skills:

  • Medical device fabrication and assembly
  • Manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Equipment setup operation and maintenance
  • Equipment troubleshooting
  • Quality inspection
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Basic measurement tools including microscopes
  • Basic math calculations
  • Ability to read write interpret and comprehend specifications written in English

Soft Skills:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work well with coworkers and supervisors
  • Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities

Physical Demands:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks involved in the fabrication manufacture assembly testing and packaging of medical devices
  • Set up operate maintain and troubleshoot equipment
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing lines according to quality specifications
  • Follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods
  • Adhere to established quality guidelines
  • Read interpret and comprehend specifications written in English
  • Perform basic math calculations
  • Use basic measurement tools including microscopes
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Work flexible and extended hours as required
  • Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
