Production Assembler

We work with some of the biggest names in commercial and military electronic systems, providing a fast-paced and innovative work environment where the work is never boring. You'll have the chance to put your skills to the test, installing electronic and mechanical assemblies, fittings, and wiring.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented electro-mechanical assembler who enjoys utilizing their hands to. Successful candidates communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and production personnel, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, adapting to changing schedules and requirements, and working collaboratively across cross-functional teams. 

• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components such as power supplies, printed circuit boards, cable harnesses, modules, and sub-assemblies.
• Solder and de-solder SMT and Thru-hole components including resistors, capacitors, ICs, diodes, and LEDs utilizing soldering iron and hot air techniques; accurately identify component types and verify correct placement.
• Read Bills of Materials, confirm component values, and recognize component package sizes.
• Conduct self-inspection of completed work to ensure compliance with workmanship standards 
• Follow production drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assemblies
• Follow engineering procedures, manufacturing instructions, and quality requirements
• Perform hardware and component rework, repair, or modifications as needed
• Route and secure wires and wire bundles of various sizes.
• Inspect parts and perform basic tests to ensure quality standards
• Work closely with teammates and management to meet production goals.
• Track and sustain all visual management tools and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures
• Safely lift, transport, and position units throughout the manufacturing process using lift tables, carts, and other material handling equipment
• Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned by management
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and quality.
