Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Production Assembler to assemble screens according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities include trimming, marking, cutting, and grinding screens and steel, assembling parts, checking the quality and accuracy of components, packaging and storing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The role also requires flexibility to cross-train in other production areas and support manufacturing needs.

Job Description

• Assemble screens to engineering specifications in the most cost-efficient and safest manner, trimming or marking screens as necessary, boxing, crating, moving parts, assembling parts, removing parts from boxes for the assembly process, storing equipment and materials in their proper places, cutting screen and steel to length, grinding, etc
• Check quality of parts to ensure accuracy of dimensions and quantity
• Assist with plant housekeeping, including sweeping, emptying trash barrels, and properly storing chemicals, among other tasks
• Follow all safety and environmental policies and programs; use personal protective equipment as required by company policy; report any activities that could negatively affect safety or productivity; and report any injuries when they occur

Skills Required

• Able to be cross-trained in different areas
• Good communication skills (able to speak, read and write English)

Education / Training Certifications

• No Education required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screen & criminal background check

• Shift Hours: Day Shift, 6:00 am - 7:00 pm
  
  • Willing to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (no air conditioning in the plant)

• All workers must have steel-toed boots on their first day of work; The remaining required PPE will be provided by the company

Pay Rate/Salary

• $15.00-$17.00/hr depending on experience. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
