Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed
Power Temp Systems is seeking experienced, mechanically inclined Production Assemblers to join our growing manufacturing team in Broussard, Louisiana.
We are looking for dependable, hands-on individuals with experience assembling mechanical or electrical components, interpreting blueprints, using hand and power tools, and maintaining high-quality production standards.
Ideal candidates have previous manufacturing or industrial shop-floor experience and can perform assembly tasks with minimal supervision.
Assemble mechanical and electrical components, equipment, and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and inspection equipment.
Perform quality inspections to verify completed assemblies meet specifications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and correct assembly or production issues.
Assist with equipment preparation, component installation, and production activities.
Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Collaborate with production team members to meet deadlines and production goals.
Support process improvements and assist other assemblers as needed.
Previous hands-on manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical assembly experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, or technical assembly instructions.
Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections.
Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or assembly issues.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Clear driving record.
Production Assembler II –
1–3 years of manufacturing or electrical assembly experience.
Ability to interpret detailed schematics and blueprints.
Experience with inspection tools, calipers, and gauges.
Ability to perform quality-focused assembly work with minimal supervision.
Production Assembler III –
3+ years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing assembly experience.
Advanced blueprint interpretation and technical assembly capabilities.
Strong troubleshooting, inspection, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently complete complex assembly tasks and contribute to process improvements.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds or more as required.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
Must wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots and safety glasses in designated areas.
Available for overtime as needed.
