    Position Summary:
    Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly detail-oriented Packaging & Labeling Technician I to join our Packaging team. This role supports both the Label Room and Packaging operations, ensuring products are accurately labeled, packaged, documented, and prepared according to quality and regulatory standards. Success in this position requires a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Process work orders and assemble, label, and package products according to established procedures.
    Print and verify labels, batch records, and production documents with a high level of accuracy.
    Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficiently.
    Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
    Perform quality checks and assist with in-process and finished goods inspections.
    Maintain an organized work area and follow ISO, safety, and quality requirements.
    Cross-train and support other Packaging and Label Room operations as needed.
    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other duties assigned by leadership.

    Ability to follow written procedures and accurately complete documentation.
    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    Basic computer and mechanical skills.
    High school diploma or GED required.
    Packaging, labeling, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.

    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
