This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and maintains an effective production plan for the area of responsibility (Die Cast, Secondary and Remelt operations) which will ensure customer order requests are successfully achieved while optimizing resources.Communicate status updates and potential issues to the Production Manager and other stakeholders as needed.Documents key information, including downtime, peak production, inventory accuracy, and scheduling accuracy; and works with personnel to analyze and create enhanced functionality in manufacturing applications.Education, experience, skillsAssociates (or higher) degree in a supply chain or business discipline or Technical College diploma (CET or similar) or equivalent educational and work experience in a similar roleBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering or other related fieldMinimum of two (2) years of experience in production planning or related fieldExperience with ERP systems (Plex preferred) and production scheduling softwareKnowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and tracking systems (Plex Preferred)Why work for Meridian Lightweight Technologies?At Meridian Lightweight Technologies, you'll be part of a team that is shaping the future of lightweight automotive manufacturing.
