Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Product Testing Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in authoring BDDs, acceptance criteria, and test cases while partnering with Engineering and QA teams to ensure comprehensive scenario coverage and delivery readiness.
Rate Range: $45/Hour to $46/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Product Testing Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Review features and user stories to identify edge cases, negative scenarios, and requirement gaps before development begins.
Strengthen acceptance criteria and ensure business requirements are explicit, testable, and aligned with quality standards.
Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams to create BDD scenarios, test cases, and comprehensive test coverage.
Support validation, testing readiness, and go-live activities by ensuring adequate scenario and environment readiness.
Investigate, reproduce, and triage defects while clearly communicating risks and impacts to stakeholders.
Partner with Product Owners to improve user story quality and document reusable test scenarios, business rules, and edge cases for future reference.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
6-7 years of experience in Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, SDET, or a hybrid Product/Technical role supporting complex, highly integrated technology solutions.
Proven experience identifying edge cases, negative scenarios, and requirement gaps, with hands-on expertise in authoring BDDs, acceptance criteria, and test cases in Agile environments.
Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to drive delivery readiness, defect triage, and quality improvements; financial services or payments domain experience is preferred.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
