$64.74/hr Position Summary Test and Validation Engineer

• Develop and improve test processes by analyzing product specifications and customer requirements.
• Design, test, modify, and create solutions through collaboration with multiple teams.
• Provide technical direction for testing and troubleshooting complex electronic assemblies and test equipment.
• Support production testing, process improvements, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities Test and Validation Engineer

• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Design/Engineering, Test Equipment Engineering, and Program Offices to ensure test readiness and resolve test issues.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), including test procedures aligned with product specifications.
• Partner with Test Equipment Engineering to define and improve test hardware and software.
• Support production testing, troubleshoot production issues, integrate engineering changes, and manage hardware under test and test equipment.
• Evaluate non-conforming material and determine disposition.
• Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities.
• Lead cycle-time improvement initiatives.
• Support ergonomic risk reduction efforts.
• Drive automation initiatives and cost-reduction activities using CORE and data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications Test and Validation Engineer

• One of the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least two years of prior Test Engineering experience.
• Advanced degree in a related Test Engineering discipline.

RF knowledge and experience strongly preferred. Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Test and Validation Engineer

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of:
• RF principles
• RF circuits
• RF components
• Associated technical parameters

Ability to interpret test requirements, schematic diagrams, and technical drawings. Experience operating RF test equipment, including:

• Power meters
• Oscilloscopes
• Spectrum analyzers
• Network analyzers

Experience with TestStand and LabVIEW. Experience in test execution, fault isolation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with:

• FPGAs
• Digital circuits
• Analog circuit design

Demonstrated hands-on electronics aptitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage dynamic workloads. Self-motivated and effective in team-based environments. Ability to apply CORE principles to improve processes, projects, and systems. Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and technology adoption. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience with:

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
• Statistical tools (SPC, data analysis)
• Shop-floor systems (PRISM, PDM, CMES)

Experience with refurbishment and repair processes, including Government-Furnished Material (GFM) and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE). Master's degree preferred.
