    Job Title: Product Test Engineer 2
    Location: Beaverton, Or (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)
    Duration: 13 Months


    ABOUT THE TEAM
    A footwear product testing lab within a global sportswear organization, focused on evaluating basketball footwear products testing the product itself, not human-subject/athlete participants. The Engineer will work closely with 2-3 teammates daily, within a broader team of about 18.

    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
    We're looking for a Test Engineer II with strong problem solving, results orientation, and multi-tasking skills.

    WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
    You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate results to the teams. You will also assist more senior engineers on testing-related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.

    WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
    You will work with product creation teams to ensure the quality of footwear products.

    MUST-HAVE
    " Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
    " Minimum 2+ years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and/or equipment design
    " Hands-on experience with product/materials testing
    " Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
    " Experience with statistical analysis of data
    " Self-starter, detail-oriented, adaptable team player
    " Ability to work with little oversight and in ambiguity

    NICE-TO-HAVE
    " Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD
    " Experience with universal testing machines (UTMs) or Instron machines
    " AutoCAD experience
    " 3D printing experience
    " Ability to travel occasionally (5%)
