Product Support Engineer 1 | Kennett Square, PA | Night Shift | Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
Type: 12-Month Contract
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Pay: $25-$28/hr
We are seeking a Product Support Engineer to join a 24/7 Energy Operations Center supporting remote monitoring, dispatch, and troubleshooting of distributed energy assets across North America.

What You'll Do:
- Monitor and control customer energy assets including generators, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar systems, energy management systems, and meters
- Respond to alarms and perform real-time troubleshooting of hardware, software, and communication issues
- Coordinate dispatch of service technicians and communicate with customers and partners
- Support peak demand, market participation, and weather-driven energy events
- Configure new customer sites and monitoring points within energy management systems
- Generate and distribute operational reports
- Document activities and maintain accurate shift handoff records
- Support a fast-paced operations center environment with independent decision-making and adherence to established procedures
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in energy operations, utility operations, NOC/control room environments, dispatch, technical support, SCADA, or related fields
- High school diploma required; technical or engineering degree preferred
- Internship experience in energy, utility, or operations environments is welcomed
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to learn monitoring software and energy market operations quickly
- Comfortable working independently on an overnight shift
Preferred Experience:
- Utility, power generation, renewable energy, or electrical systems
- SCADA, remote monitoring, or control room operations
- Energy storage systems (BESS), generators, solar, or energy management systems
- ISO/RTO market familiarity (PJM, ERCOT, MISO, NYISO, CAISO, ISO-NE)
- Technical support or operations center environments
